Build and explore your Knowledge library

Last reviewed

Knowledge is a searchable library of material you deliberately save. Add the source, check processing, then use it in a conversation or project.

Add an item

Open Knowledge and choose the type that fits: note, gist, journal, fleeting note, bookmark, PDF, document, sheet, slides, image, audio, or video. Enter text, a URL, or a file as the form requires. Add tags you will recognize later.

Text notes can be used directly. Documents and media may go through extraction and enrichment. Some processing depends on model capability; a missing optional model can skip a stage rather than manufacture an extracted result.

Inspect what was saved

Open the item to read its content and details. Check extracted text, summary, and tags, especially for scans, tables, audio, and video. Use the reading view for longer material. If there is no text body yet, wait for processing or investigate the input.

Search and connect

Search by title, exact phrase, or topic. Inspect Neighbourhood to see related material. Related does not mean equivalent: read the original before treating a nearby item as supporting evidence.

Handle conflicting claims

The contradiction view keeps both sides when stored claims disagree. Read the two sources and their dates. Record a correction or resolution based on evidence instead of silently discarding the disagreement.

Reuse the material

Tell Gideon which item or tag set to use. For recurring ingestion and synthesis, use watched sources and reports.
