From sources to a finished brief
Use one small research brief to learn how Knowledge, Chat, Files, and review fit together. This example does not require external publication.
1. Gather the sources
Add the relevant documents to Knowledge or attach them to the chat. Give each a recognizable name. Confirm processing has finished and that Gideon can find the intended items.
2. Define the question
Using [source names], answer [question] for [audience]. Produce a one-page brief with the conclusion, supporting evidence, disagreements between sources, and open questions. Cite each material claim. Do not browse or add other sources unless I ask.
3. Review the draft
Open the cited material. Check dates, numbers, and statements that rely on inference. Ask Gideon to revise specific passages. Keep disagreements visible instead of forcing a single confident answer.
4. Keep the result
Ask for a saved file or artifact, then open it. Confirm the title, formatting, citations, and any export. Put lasting reference material in Knowledge if you want to reuse it.
5. Repeat deliberately
If this becomes regular work, save the prompt or build a workflow with a review step. Add a schedule only after one complete run produces the result you expect.
